Ahhh LJ, something I so rarely use. I remember I used to be soo big on this thing, now I seem to have fallen out of it. I blame Facebook, stupid, addicting blog thingy...in any event, life's been less than eventful minus this guy I like calling me an Enigma, which I don't really know means but apparently it's a riddle. Nice.

Soo we threw Sim's awesome birthday party which actually worked in that everyone showed up and yelled the surprise. He suspected nothing too. And of course that night Amos had to get drunk and hit on me in front of his girlfriend, who's a good friend of mine. Why is it drunk guys are incapable of keeping certain things on the inside. He knows I don't encourage it and he knows it pisses her off and it ends up the same old story. I suppose it's an update for now, minus soap thoughts, which I feel no longer belong under the cut since...I don't watch soaps anymore :( Not a single one, I'd like to thank all networks for ruining all the soaps. Even the great Y&R sucks, and AMC is like watching a circus. I can sit through GH for the most part.

The Emmy's were okay, I gotta say, Lost should've been nominated for waaay more. But it wasn't too bad since my 2nd favorite show won everything. I'm so glad Kiefer Sutherland won his Emmy!! Finally! He plays like the coolest character ever on tv and the fact he never won before really pissed me off, so I'm glad he won. And the show itself, well deserved.

Guys are SO stupid! So we were hanging out at a dead end, and for some reason, one of the wooden logs was able to come out of the ground. Of course the guys had to pick it up and throw it around, and of course, they had to drop it on my toe! It's all purple and nasty, damnit.

And I shouldn't have gone, but I went to the SuperEx yesterday, this carnival thingy because my best friend came home from Romania and I haven't seen her in two months. So we went, my toe killed me but I still went on some rides. And it was cool, I got to see my friend Rachel again who I haven't seen in forever.

Okay so trip pics update, I finally got them printed so they look good.

Day 1 of the reception lasted until 5 am. I didn't stay that late, though I should've, I couldn't let Alexa go back to my grandparents alone.

So in conclusion, Poland was awesome. Europe rules, I really do think I'm going to move there when I'm done school.

I will update on my trip (stupid me, I rebooted my computer, lost everything) but for now I'll just update. I unfortunately close tonight, my weekends are once again ruined. Anyway, mindless entry alert:

Alright, so this didn't work, anyone know?

Okay continuing on with the trip, because I will forget all this eventually, so might as well write it down. When we got to the town we stayed in, my two brothers went to sleep at my Aunt's while Alexa and I went to my grandparents. Which was a bit awkward sine I didn't have much to say to her at first, but eventually we got to talking and it became easier (and I actually don't mind her as much).

For the first few days before the wedding we mostly chilled around their place. My cousin Paulina took us to this river which was about an hour away. You couldn't really swim in it though because of the rapids but it was refreshing nonetheless (sine no one in Poland seems to have Air Conditioning). We played Frisbee and badminton, so needless to say I got some good exercise (and boy do I ever suck at badminton)and I got a rock from the river, which I swear is alive, it has hairs coming out of it (which could also be nothing, but I say it's alive hehe)

The next week involved the wedding, so it was a lot of prep. I had a problem with my dress, and this problem got so annoying I wanted to burn all dresses by the end of it. So I'm not one for getting dressed up, I don't like to wear dresses or high heels, and to make things worse, my mom bought me a dress without me, just assuming I would like it, that it would fit and I'd wear it. I hated this dress, it's fluffy and makes me look pregnant/fat...so I begged and begged her to let me buy a new one and she said no the entire time we were in Canada. Finally I try on this dress for my aunt and my cousin who both think it sucks; we go to get it altered, didn't work so I just went out and bought a new one, a nice green one (I have pics of it) and instead of letting me wear that one, my mom told me to use it for Day 2 of the wedding! I was so furious and then she told me to wear this black dress my cousin had which was identical to the one I wanted to wear in the first place, but wasn't alllowed beacause "no one wears black to a wedding"!!! you gotta be kidding me!

Then there was my hair. Now my mom had chopped off all my hair I actually had really long hair and I always knew it would be hard to do something with my short hair, but I didn't realize it until I got to the hairdresser and started crying (yes crying lol) because you couldn't do anything with it! So the woman gave me curly hair at the back and then straightened the front part and moved it to the side, so this is what it looked like:

The night before the wedding we helped my uncle bring alcohol to the hotel where the reception was (300 bottles of vodka, how crazy is that?)and then my brothers checked in to their hotel room where we met my cousin Pawel, his roomate Andje and this guy Luke, who actually was Canadian so we had someone to speak english to.

I'll save the rest for another entry, I hate having to come back to my crappy job, ah well, at least it's not that long a shift.

Back from Poland, and of course, still getting adjusted to the time difference. The six hour difference is pretty hard to miss, woke up at 6 today! Anywho, the trip was absolutely amazing, Poland is a beautiful (and underrated) country. The flight there was bad though, of course I got sick, the airplane food was disgusting. So the first two days we spent in Warsaw, the capital, my two brothers, friend Alexa, me and my cousin Magda who was getting married were all there. The next day, a cousin of ours took us around Warsaw (and thank God she did otherwise we'd have been soo lost!)so we toured that for a while (lots of churches!), again though, got sick and was until we got on our train where we headed to the smaller town we were staying in (at the risk of embarrassing myself with not spelling it probably, I'll just say it's 5 hours from Warsaw by train).

So when we got to the town, my brothers went to stay with my Aunt while Alexa and I went to my Grandparents (who are really funny, they argue with eachother it's hillarious). Sadly, there isn't much to do there so we tried to make sure we just went there to sleep. Other than the fact that they live in the city, it's pretty boring in their apartment. The next day my cousin Paulina (Paula) took us to this river which was about an hour away. It was so much fun, despite the fact that you had to cross a scary looking bridge and you couldn't really swim, since there were soo many rapids we just sat there and held onto something. But since it was so hot, we didn't really care. My brotehrs actually swam in it though which they found hard.

We also saw two movies while there, Superman Returns and the last day I was there Pirates of the Carribbean. I loved Superman Returns and Pirates was good but I think the first one was way better. And thankfully neither were dubbed in Polish. Speaking of, my Polish got a lot better and I can somewhat read, not write, but can read. I got a book to help me out, hopefully months of studying will ensure I'll get better.

So more of the trip to talk about in the next few days, more pics. Since it was my cousin's wedding I have tons of pics from that which I'll post, but for now, must go shower.

So I get that I work in the bad part of town. I'm used to getting some annoying customers, but last night I got the WORST one of out of all of them. I was working with my co-worker Sarah, who's like, the nicest girl in the world. This guy walks in and says "you changed your window"...I was like, uh what does he mean because I had no idea what he was talking about, and he basically looked at me like I was an idiot. He was talking to me like I was one too. So he murmured "someone's being a space kiddett today" and I was thinking, what an ass but he's a customer so I'm gonna try to make him happy anyway. We had this astrology book on display in the window a while back and I guess it was moved, by whoever and he was really adament about where it was. So Sarah pointed him to the occult and supernatural section and he was SO mad she was pointing, he made comments like "why don't you not point with your whole hand" which she wasn't doing.

So I was getting annoyed and I asked him which window it was in (because we have three) and he wouldn't tell me. So I went to one and just started movign stuff around, and he was like "go back to school". UGH!!!! What an ass! So finally I walked away and I REALLY wanted to pick a fight with him, but I didn't. I was alright, I kept my cool. I showed him the section (which is REALLY easy to find) and he asked who moved the book etc...and I said one of the girls and left. Finally after 10 minutes he came up to the front again and started going off on Sarah, saying she lied to him and she's not fooling anyone because she's a pretty girl. Poor girl, she wanted to cry and I just wanted to punch him. It was the WORST experience I've ever had.

I guess what really made me mad is he came in for no other reason to make us look stupid and attack us. He had no intention of buying anything. I hate rude people more than anything else, but this guy takes the cake.

YAY the Lost finale is tonight!!! Die Michael, DIE!

Okay so I got all my marks up...they're not bad, except for one. So I got two A-s, two B+s, a C+, a C and a D+. So not terrible but I'd love it if I didn't have that stupid D. Ah well.

I wanted to see MI3 today but all I hear is that it's not good. I'm really up for seeing it but I don't know if it's worth wasting money on. Who knows, I might just wait for video.

I saw Walk the Line and MAN is that movie ever amazing! I loved it! Reese & Joaquin had sooo much chemistry, it was awesome! I want to buy the two disc edition even though it's not out yet.

Also, does anyone know how to post icons in their journal? I've made a ton but have no clue how to cut them.

No not dead, only swamped with school. I gotta say the older you get, the worse it gets. You'd think after 3 years in university it would be a walk in the park, but NO! It just gets worse; I have sooo much stuff to do. I have an essay due Thursday, an assignment due tuesday and I need all my essay arguments for another essay I'm going to write. Lots to do. And because I work so much I barely have time to work on them...ah well, only two more weeks of this. I just keep telling myself that.

Work's going alright. Though we HAVE to hire someone new, I hate that we're so short-staffed. I needed a shift off and there was only one person who could cover it. We're going to need more in summer that's for sure. Speaking of summer, can't wait I'm going to Poland! Not the rest of Europe though, which sucks but I plan to go next year for a month or two. My brother's going this year though, which I hate but what can I do.

I got my Harry Potter! And Crash! There were lots of good movies lately coming out on DVD, I have yet to see Brokeback Mountain but that won't be out for a bit anyway.
